MFA THESIS: MACHINED ASSEMBLED
WORKS BY RYAN HAAS

The James Pearson Duffy Department of Art and Art History, Wayne State University is pleased to present its annual MFA Thesis Exhibitionwith works by Ryan Haas at the Art Department Gallery, February 21 through March 6, 2020.  The opening reception will be held on Friday, February 21, 5-8PM.
 
Ryan Haas is based in the Detroit area where he incorporates the history and industrial styling into his work. He has traveled to study with fellow artists at schools across the country including: Haystack Mountain School of Arts, Penland School of Craft, and Peter’s Valley.  Ryan has been an advocator and teacher for Wayne State University and the College for Creative Studies.  He is currently the technician for the Crafts Department at the College for Creative Studies and an adjunct faculty in the Metalsmithing Department at Wayne State University.
