In the Making — WAYNE STATE GALLERIES

2020 UNDERGRADUATE EXHIBITION

The James Pearson Duffy Department of Art and Art History at Wayne State University is pleased to present In the Making: 2020 WSU Undergraduate Exhibition.

In the Making is an online exhibition that brings together an array of works by art, art history, and design students. The juxtaposition of various disciplines unites common themes and ideas that transcend a sole community and creates a unique dialogue. The selection of works here acknowledges the process of creation and the path of each individual artist.

In the Making has been organized by the following students from the department’s Gallery Management Course / Gallery Learning Community: Maddison Ahlbrand, Jasmine Brown, Kelly Farrell, Vonesa Fetahu, Christina George, Cody Gundlach, Alex Heath, Jenna Karam, Taylor Mcclendon, and Luke Meduvsky.

The James Pearson Duffy Department of Art and Art History is a division of Wayne State’s College of Fine, Performing and Communication Arts, educating the next generation of visual artists, designers, and art historians. Wayne State University, located in the heart of Detroit’s midtown cultural center, is a premier urban research university offering more than 350 academic programs through 13 schline ools and colleges to more than 28,000 students.
