2021 TRI-COUNTY HIGH SCHOOL EXHIBITION
The James Pearson Duffy Department of Art & Art History is pleased to present its annual Tri-County High School Exhibition, March 11 through April 9, 2021. An opening reception with an awards presentation will be held on Thursday, March 11 from 6-7:30PM on Zoom. Members of the Department of Art and Art History will be on hand to celebrate students and their creative achievements.
This exhibition features approximately 80 selected artworks created by high school students from Macomb, Oakland, and Wayne counties. At the opening reception, seven awards will be given to students for their outstanding artworks in the exhibition. The awards include First Place, Second Place, Third Place, Teacher Award, and three Honorable Mentions. This year’s guest juror is Saima Mohammad, Lecture in Graphic Design.
Artworks by students from the following high schools are included in this year’s exhibition: Bloomfield Hills High School, Cass Technical High School, Dakota High School, Detroit Country Day High School, Fraser High School, Grosse Ile High School, International Academy East, International Academy of Macomb, Lake Orion High School, Mumford High School, Novi High School, Oakland Christian High School, Plymouth Christian Academy, Richmond High School, Rochester High School, Sterling Heights High School, Utica High School, Walled Lake Northern High School, and West Bloomfield High School.
